Border Rod Innerspring Mattress with Tape-Edge Nylon Cover 36x80x8

The Border Rod Innerspring Mattress is constructed from a durable innerspring core with a steel border rod that helps the mattress maintain its shape over time.  Each spring unit is sandwiched between two layers of polyester fiber and topped with medium-density 100% CertiPur US Foam. The mattress's core is encased with a water-resistant laminated 210D blue nylon cover with a fire barrier. The seams are constructed using a tape-edge method for that classic dorm mattress look and feel. The cover fits snugly across the core, leaving clean and crisp corners for a tight & firm feel. The fabric is treated with an antimicrobial solution that helps reduce the risk of mold, mildew, and other bacteria from growing on the mattress. 

The water-resistant nylon cover improves sanitary conditions when compared with mattresses with cotton covers because it is both easy to clean and protects against foreign contaminants like bodily fluids. Unlike vinyl covers which can be overly stiff to the touch, the nylon cover is durable enough for use in most environments while still being pliable and abrasion-resistant to your skin.
